The Continuity Care Service - formerly on call - guarantees the continuity of medical assistance at the end of the service hours of family doctors and pediatricians of free choice. 

The main tasks of the continuity of care doctor include: 

• home visits;
• outpatient visits;
• telephone consultations;
• sickness certificates

The service is free only for residents of the Puglia Region. For non-residents and tourists, the service is subject to charges. 

In continuity of care centers, outpatient activities are guaranteed at the following times: 

▪ Night - from 20.00 to 22.30

▪ Sundays and holidays - from 8.00 to 13.30 and from 15.30 to 20.00

▪ Saturday and holidays - from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 15.30 to 20.00
